Why train at Pain Solutions

Over the years Ben has helped hundreds of people discover how enjoyable regular strength training can be.

Ben doing a kettlebell front squat in the studio
  • Better equipment, better results

Sandbags, kettlebells and TRX train you in all three planes of motion and demand more core control than dumbbells, barbells or machines. Why kettlebells

  • Home programs with videos

Real results need practice 2–3 times a week. If you don't want to see Ben that often, members get a custom home program with hyperlinked video lessons.

  • Precise form feedback

Bad form costs you twice: you miss the benefit and you're more likely to get hurt. Ben makes sure every rep is worth it.

  • Built for people in pain

Ben finds your movement weaknesses first and only progresses you as fast as your body allows. Clients come in with knee, back, shoulder, hip and ankle pain.

What training clients say

Ben's corrective exercise and personal training program is incredibly comprehensive and steadily progresses from movement to movement. His multitude of videos make learning new exercise simple and his weekly check-ins ensure I'm doing them correctly. Moreover, the sandbags are challenging and versatile tools. 10/10 recommend!

Sarah M.

Before working with Ben, I relied on YouTube workouts to build strength, and they were challenging. However, Ben's workouts are so much more dynamic and have helped me identify and address weaknesses I didn't even know existed. I'm making progress so much faster now.

David H.

Since doing the program, my hip strength and balance are no longer issues. I can feel that my core is much stronger, and my back is more resilient.

Personal training questions

How often do I need to train to see results?

Training 2–3 times a week usually brings significant results. That can be a mix of sessions in the studio and the home program Ben writes for you.

How much equipment do I need at home?

Plan on $180–$300 for sandbags, kettlebells, TRX and more. Ben fits you for the right equipment and can supply it at a wholesale rate.

Exercise has made my body worse before. How is this different?

When exercise makes things worse, it's usually because the exercises were poorly chosen or someone pushed intensity over quality. Ben starts by finding your movement weaknesses and only progresses you as fast as your body allows.

Do you work with knee, back, shoulder or ankle pain?

Yes. Ben has worked with clients across nearly every musculoskeletal complaint, including knee, back, shoulder, hip and ankle pain.
